The stadium's retractable roof consists of two unit blocks, with an opening area of 12,350 square meters, making it the largest retractable roof in China. The steel structure mainly includes a fixed roof, a retractable roof, and a membrane structure steel frame. The fixed roof's projection is nearly elliptical, with a major axis length of 267m and a minor axis length of 206m. The outer edge of the roof is a four-centered circle. The top elevation of the fixed roof is 47.107m, and the top elevation of the retractable roof is 57.456m. The retractable roof uses a planar truss structure, with 14 main trusses along the span. The maximum truss height is 6.2m, and the minimum height is 1.5m. The rear curved edge of the retractable roof has a cantilever length of 5m. In addition to the fixed and movable PTFE membrane roofs, the external decorative diamond-shaped frame surrounding the walls is also wrapped with PTFE membrane, with an unfolded area of 100,000 m².
